The International Exposition of Contemporary Art (MECA), is a celebration dedicated to Caribbean art aimed at expanding the Dominican influence in the international art market. MECA fairs feature leading international galleries, local artists, and curators making it a major networking event inside a colorful celebration of Caribbean art.

I wrote press releases, created social media content, coordinated event details, attended meetings with the Dominican Ministry of Culture.

We want to make art accessible to everyone and connect artists with opportunities, while also expanding the local commercial art market to the international circuit— think Art Basel, but in the Dominican.
